All About Weight: Finding That Natural Balance

One of the most challenging health concerns in the U.S. is obesity. The number of overweight and obese adults and children in this country has risen dramatically in the last 5 years. It is truly a problem in epidemic proportion.  Eating disorders like anorexia and bulemia have also increased as people's relationship to food has become so imbalanced.  With weight increasing, type 2 diabetes and heart disease have risen as well. There is no question that diet and lifestyle play an enormous role in prevention of these health concerns as well as the reversal.

This special weekend program will give you the tools to find your optimal weight with minimal effort. We will look at how to address blood sugar issues the natural way as well as how to reverse heart disease using food, natural remedies and lifestyle.  The program also includes 2 cooking classes where you will see and taste specific dishes and remedies to create the balance we are looking for.  Warren's lectures on weight, diabetes and heart disease will clarify just how to address these concerns.

Don't miss this fabulous weekend of education, great food and fun!

Living In Full Union Through Sacred Sound…Experience Heaven On Earth With Nina Umai Spiro

Healing through sacred sound is a traditional shamanic medicine path that has been widely used by every indigenous culture in the world since the beginning of time to maintain wellness, balance, a clear connection with the nature and the spirit realms, and a full union with all of life. Pravada Sound Healing weaves the heart of this ancient practice into a new method of self-healing and empowerment that supports mindfulness, spiritual awakening, full connection with the human, nature, and spirit realms, and tremendous personal transformation in daily life.

In this experiential workshop, Nina Umai Spiro, ( founder of Pravada ), teaches us to re-connect with the innate wisdom and power of our own sacred vocal sound, as it is a natural vehicle for becoming present in each moment, awakening our most authentic selves, and living in full union with all beings.

While honoring every group member as a sacred teacher, we will experience the awakening and complete transformation that " full spectrum vision " ( tm ) brings, as the unique ability of our own voices leads us deeply into shamanic sound altered states.

In these natural states, we are easily able to arrive fully in our bodies, learn to hear, trust and follow our own wisdom and guidance,... heal fully,...receive guidance from other realms, ...and live in complete partnership with the earth, spirits, and all our relations.

When we are more fully present, we automatically return to a healthy balance with all of life, rejoin our original state of oneness, ( where we are held lovingly in balance by all beings ), and re-awaken to the beauty and guidance that always exists within and around us.

In our circle, we will each learn follow the natural wisdom that calls us home to be the radiant beings we are here to be in this lifetime, we learn about our unique individual gifts, and receive precious healing blessings from our many relations in all forms.

" Prepare to be moved when Nina Umai's fluting enters you. She gives sweet voice to the earth, the plants, your bones, sticks, and stones. Delicious and deeply nourishing." ~ Susan Weed, Wise Woman Tradition, author and herbalist. ~

"In the hands of Nina Umai Spiro the Native American flute becomes a powerful instrument of healing and contemplation.....When she plays the flute, she goes deep within, and draws the listener in with her." ~ Daniel Jarvis - flute maker, teacher, and concert performer ~

Many of us feel so scattered and inattentive we have lost the capacity to achieve even our most rudimentary goals. Life’s constant pressures and daily distractions have eroded our self-confidence and inner peace to such an extent that we have become despondent and dispirited. Through a simple, fully integrated five-step practice, each of us can learn to live and work more consciously and compassionately in the present moment. What’s different about this retreat?

This retreat program addresses the underlying causes and characteristics of our lack of awareness and inability to be fully conscious human beings. Through a careful and systemic analysis of our “wrong” thinking patterns, toxic beliefs and other forms of “life-alienating” behavior we can learn to develop connect to the authentic selves and experience life affirming connection to all beings. It is not for the faint of heart! We are asking ourselves to change how we see ourselves and the world. Participants will learn to live in the living presence openly, honestly and compassionately by staying in touch with the Light of Our Authentic Self. Participants will walk away from this retreat challenged, inspired and with practical and accessible tools and techniques to meet life’s daily challenges.
